Three industrial, logistics and services centers to grow close to PSADate: 13.04.2007 Three centers targeted at industry, logistics and services will be build around the Trnava plant of the French car-maker PSA Peugeot Citroën. The Top Development Company will construct an industrial site of a total area of 27 hectares for production facilities, warehouse terminals and other multiuse facilities. Another 22 hectares commercial and services center will be built next to it. “Our company sold these lands, already equipped with complete utility systems, to two developers who will build these constructions”, said Milan Seman, a member of the company’s managing board. The investor Parker Green presently refines on its plans. “A smaller section of the lands is owned by a company that is developing the construction of a Baumax facility here”, added Seman. There are also projects for a large capacity hotel and several smaller structures, like car stores. According to Seman, the projects are still under development. “We will be able to provide more detailed information about the clients in June”, he added. Seman also noted that both centers have already valid land use permits. “Top Development has already completed the construction of the entire utility infrastructures. At the present, the concepts of all zones is being specified in more details, and we work on obtaining the building permits”, added Seman. The construction of the first structures will begin by the end of this summer. He doesn’t want to specify the scale of the investments yet. Construction activities close to the PSA plant are planned by the HB Reavis Group, too. On a 60 hectares land, the company will construct an industrial and logistics park with investments totaling to SKK 4 billion. They will rent out 240 thousand square meters. They should start constructing this year. The park has no specific leaseholders yet, but according to Miroslav Sedlak, the marketing manager at HB Reavis Group, a voiced interest in about one half of the planned acreage even before the land use permit was issued, is a positive signal. |
