Commercial supercenter, hotel includedDate: 31.08.2007 In January, the Irish company Parker Green wants to start the construction of the new multiuse center close to Trnava, about 50 kilometers from Bratislava. It will be built directly next to the French car plant PSA. It is also surrounded by the growing Trnava suburbs Zavar and Modranka. The center is to be completed in April 2009. This center will be built in two phases, and it will include a hotel with 150 beds. The company bought the 13,4 hectares of land last year, and it will start to build it up with a mall of a total area of 30 thousand square meters and with 83 stores. The second phase will add another area of half of that size. The mall is designed with two floors with opened interior areas and a shopping mall. It will include a court that will create a distinctive urban element and a central zone with cafés. Besides the hotel, the multiuse site will also include separate commercial facilities (garments, furniture, electronics, sport equipment and shoes stores, as well as groceries), and services and entertainment facilities, e.g. cinemas, aquatic park and an ice arena. In the vicinity of the Parker Green site, a store of the Austrian Baumax group should open at the time of the completion of the commercial center. |
